Job Opening: Digital Marketing Coordinator

Full time, Kingston, Ontario

We are looking for a motivated and creative individual to join our team as a Digital Marketing Coordinator. In this role, you will support the development of content that captures the attention, emotion, and imagination of diverse audiences while adhering to brand guidelines. You will work closely with our team to create and deploy original digital content across multiple platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Develop engaging and audience-focused copy for webpages, campaigns, landing pages, videos, emails etc.

  • Ideate and draft compelling stories that capture reader’s interest while adhering to brand guidelines

  • Assist in creating multimedia content such as videos or graphics that accompany written materials

  • Ensure quality assurance by proofreading drafts before publishing them online or sending them out for review/approval

  • Participate in brainstorm sessions with other members of the creative team when needed

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge on industry trends including popular formats (e.g., podcasts) and emerging technologies (e.g., AI) related to content creation

  • Utilize various technology platforms to distribute the content

     

  • Perform administrative functions to help set clients up for success with our internal technology systems

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism or similar fields is preferred but not required; proven writing skills are necessary

  • Excellent command of the English language; experience working with different dialects beneficial

  • Strong design eye and experience with graphic design is required

  • Demonstrated experience with no-code page builders like Shopify, Elementor, and Wix is required

  • Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams

  • Desire to stay abreast of changing technology landscape influencing modern storytelling

  • Highly organized with acute attention to detail

  • Proven ability to present innovative ideas along with thoughtfully crafted copy

  • Strong time management skills; able to prioritize tasks efficiently

  • Strong desire to follow defined SOPs to ensure quality output

  • Proven ability to adapt to new software and technologies where required
